Lyrics for Life - Musicians giving back
Lyics for Life is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization founded by Ken Block (lead singer for Sister Hazel) to raise money to help in the fight against pediatric cancer in honor of his brother who lost his battle with Lymphoma. The organization brings musicians together throughout the year at a variety of fundraising events and auctions to benefit the cause.
Most typically, Lyrics for Life auctions feature handwritten lyrics to songs donated by the artists. The lyrics are written on anything from paper to surfboards (artists are welcome to submit lyrics in creative ways)
The money raised form Lyrics for Live auctions and events benefit the following charities:
